Administrator

Greg Howard

Greg Howard is the current camp administrator at Lamoka Baptist Camp. Greg has 3 wonderful children (Wesley, Evangelyn, and Ayla) with his wife Jodianne. Greg Howard has served at Lamoka in different capacities for over 20 years. He is passionate about sanctification and creating a place where campers nad families can grow closer to, and serve, God. He has a bachelors degree in Communications and Bible from Summit University, a Masters degree in English and Rhetoric from SUNY Binghamton, and an Master’s of Divinity from Baptist Bible Seminary. He is currently working on a Doctorate in Next Generation Ministry at Liberty University. He is also currently serving as a deacon at Harvest Baptist Church in Bath NY. Greg’s favorite food is Pizza and his favorite restaurant is Texas Road House. He enjoys reading, writing, and cooking.

Alyssa Grizenko

Alyssa Grizenko has served at Lamoka for many years in various capacities. She is currently serving as the Camp’s Assistant Administrator and Communications Director. She graduated from Moody Bible Institute in 2019 and is now full time at Lamoka Baptist Camp. She attends and is a member of Faith Baptist Church in Dundee New York, where she serves in various ways. Alyssa is know for her God-centered focus, unbeatable work ethic, and her passion for the spiritual growth of young people. 

Housekeeping Coordinator

Cindy Henry

Cindy Henry has faithfully served at Lamoka Baptist Camp for decades. Her ceaseless work and genuine love has made Lamoka what it is today! She began serving full-time 16-years-ago when she and her husband Ed moved onto campus. Cindy has three sons and seven grandchildren, and Lamoka holds a special place in her heart as it is the place where she and Ed met, and also the place where three of her grandsons came to know Christ as Savior. She is currently serving as the Camp’s House Keeping Coordinator and is responsible for all the interior living spaces on campus as well as the grounds and landscaping. Her greatest joy is the months spent in the craft barn, where she serves as our Craft Coordinator, ministering with the wonderful staff that comes to serve God each summer! Cindy is a member of People’s Baptist Church in Newfield, New York.

Office Administrator

Kim Dykes

Kim has served as an office administrator and accountant at Lamoka Baptist Camp for over two decades. She currently attends Bradford Baptist Church in Bradford NY with her husband Larry. Kim has three children (Amber, April, and Heather) and many grandchildren.

Amber Tham

Amber attends Bradford Baptist Church in Bradford, NY.  She got married in 2005, and she and her husband have 3 wonderful children.  They spend a lot of their time at sporting events for their children and their community.  They also serve in the music ministry at their church. Amber attended Lamoka Baptist Camp as a young child and started her first job here, when she was 14, in the kitchen.  She also spent one summer helping out as a counselor for a few weeks. Currently she is serving in the office as an office administrator and has been in this role for about 5 years.  Amber loves working here knowing that she can have a part in the overall mission of winning lost souls for Christ and seeing many lives changed. She also wants to be able to give back to the ministry that has held a special place in her heart since she was a little girl.

Chairman of the Board

Brian Morgan

Brian Morgan is the chairman of the board of directors at Lamoka Baptist Camp. A roll he has held for over almost 10 years. He is one of the most passionate supporters of the ministry being done at Lamoka and works hard to see that it improves and grows, so it can reach more people and children with the Gospel. Brian currently attends People’s Baptist Church in Newfield NY with his wife Nancy. He has three children (Emily, Bridgette, and Sarah). Brian is also the owner and operator of Morgan Landscaping Company.

Vice Chairman of the Board

Tim Hamilton

Tim Hamilton is the Vice Chairman of the Board of Directors and the Pastor at Calvary Baptist in Trumansburg, NY. He has served at Calvary for 16 years and has been actively serving with Lamoka for over 5 years. He and his wife Vicky have 6 grown children and 5 grandchildren, and they have served together as a family in many different ways at Lamoka. Tim has spoken at Family Camp, Junior Camps and Teen Retreats, and presently oversees many projects on campus in addition to working at the zipline (a particular favorite of Tim’s!) Tim also serves as the head of the buildings and grounds committee, where he oversees much of the capitol improvement and repair projects on campus. Pastor Hamilton has a Doctorate degree from BBS and has a passion for outreach – he serves in many ways in the nearby public school and in the town of Trumansburg.

Bryan Krick

Brian Krick currently serves as Lead Pastor of Peoples Baptist Church in Newfield, New York.  He married his wife Andria in 1996 and have two children, Joel (2002) and Joy (2004).  Pastor Krick has been on the board of directors at Lamoka since 2016 and is currently serving as the treasurer. He chose to be involved with the Camp Lamoka for many reasons, but  one of the most significant ones, is because he sees God consistently using this ministry to impact students with the gospel for salvation and spiritual growth.

Abigail Pixley

Cabin #: 4

19-year-old Abby is a bubbly, warm-hearted, and sociable counselor who loves to share her passion for music with others! When asked why she chose to serve as a counselor, Abby said “I was camper at Lamoka for 10 years, so, naturally, as soon as I was of age to be a counselor, I became one!” Abby loves brownies and worship nights around the bonfire, and will be returning for her second year as a counselor this summer.

Arianna is 18-years-old, and she is outgoing, creative and adventurous! Her favorite way to spend the summer is playing volleyball, and enjoying her favorite dessert: berry pie. She decided to spend her summer as a camp counselor because she loves spending time with people and seeing them grow in Christ.

Bethany is 19-years-old, and she has a fun and quirky personality that has made her a great counselor over the past summers. Her favorite summer activity is watching fireworks, and her favorite dessert is ice cream! Bethany is returning again as a counselor this year because she loves being able to invest in children just like she was invested in as a camper.

Eleanor is 19-years-old, and she decided to be a counselor because she loves working with people, especially kids, and wanted to spend her summer doing something she loved while strengthening her relationship with Christ at the same time. Eleanor has experience serving through her church’s VBS, and she values honesty and open-mindedness – she likes to put herself in the shoes of others in order to understand a situation or someone’s reasons and feelings for something. Eleanor’s love Strawberry Pretzel Desserts, and her favorite thing to do during the summer is spend time in nature!

Kaylynne is 17-years-old, and she is a funny, fun-loving and caring counselor! Her favorite dessert is cheesecake, and her favorite summer activities are campfires and running through the woods. She chose to spend her summer as a camp counselor after serving with Lamoka during a missions trip in 2019.

David Spencer

David has lots of experience working with children, relates well with teenagers, and has chosen to serve as a camp counselor because he fully believes the Lord has called him to spend his summer in this way.

Jackson is 17-years-old, and he is chill, goofy, and serious (when necessary!) His favorite dessert is apple pie, and he loves ga-ga ball and ziplining. Jackson has ministered with Lamoka for several summers, but he has chosen to spend this summer as a counselor because he loves having the opportunity to hang out with campers all summer, have fun, and help them learn about who God is and what being a Christian really means.

Jonah is 19-years-old, and “He is mindful of his surroundings; open minded yet passionate.” His favorite summer activity is Ultimate Frisbee and his favorite dessert is Peanut Butter Pie. After spending the past several summers serving with Lamoka, he is returning again as a counselor because he loves working with the campers at Lamoka and doing his best to make sure they have a great time while keeping them safe.

Julian is 18-years-old, and his personality is “chill, but always ready to go.” His favorite summer activity is volleyball! Julian has served with Lamoka for several years, and is returning again as a counselor because seeing the kids grow, and helping them grow, is such a blessing and an encouragement, and he felt God calling him to grow with them this year.

Logan is 19-years-old and an outgoing, hardworking counselor who enjoys jokes. His favorite dessert is caramel cookie dough ice cream, and his favorite summer activities are ga-ga ball and the climbing wall (where he spent a past summer as a program staffer!) After camping at Lamoka for ten years and then working at Lamoka for two summers, Logan’s goal was always to be a camp counselor. This year when the opportunity arose for him to return as a counselor, he jumped at the opportunity!

Paul is 18-years-old, and he is a fun and energetic guy who loves games, Jesus, and ice cream! His favorite summer activity is swimming. Paul chose to spend his summer as a camp counselor because he had experienced the growth and community that occurs only at camp. He looks forward to helping facilitate that with campers and help them grow in their passion and love for Christ!
