JUNIOR CAMP DESCRIPTION
Lamoka’s Junior Camp is designed for ages 7-12. The week starts at 9am on Monday morning and runs till 9am on Saturday morning. Our program is kid-friendly and our aim is camper growth – mentally, socially, spiritually, and physically. To this end, our Camp Counselors purposefully foster friendships in their cabins, reinforce teamwork in camp activities, and encourage spiritual engagement.

Our Junior Camp Schedule includes: 2 chapels a day, evening cabin devotions, 3 meals a day (a salad bar is available at both lunch and dinner), group activity times, swimming time, free time, etc. Activities include: nerf tag, ga ga ball, swimming, tubing, canoeing, climbing wall, zipline, low ropes challenge course, group games, crafts, carpet ball, archery, dodge ball, 150-foot water slide, soccer, b-ball, volleyball, laser tag, and more! Paintball and Archery tag are not available to this age group.

Our staff is well trained and one of our priorities is your camper’s safety. We have at least one Registered Nurse (RN), one First Responder, and multiple CPR certified persons on staff and on campus at all times. We are certified by the New York Health Department and the Department of Labor. $385/week*

*A $50 registration fee is due when you register. If you pay this registration fee and not the full amount when you register, the remaining balance of $335 is due before or when you arrive for camp.

Speaker: Steve Baley
Dr. Steve Baley is from Dundee, NY, and a graduate of Clarks Summit University, Baptist Bible Seminary, and Southern Baptist Theological Seminary. He has been a teacher, basketball coach, school administrator, youth pastor, and senior pastor at various ministries throughout New York state. Currently, he serves as the Associate Dean of Students and the head of student leadership at Clarks Summit University.

He met the love of his life, his wife Amy, while the two of them worked as counselors at Lamoka. Two of their children, Dylan and Mercy, have also worked on staff at Lamoka, while their youngest Carter adores Lamoka’s day camp. Dr. Steve loves teaching the Bible and apologetics, reading, Van Gogh’s artwork, the Star Wars universe, and Converse sneakers, while passionately following the Philadelphia Phillies, Eagles, and 76ers.

Speaker: Tim Hamilton
Tim is has been the pastor of Calvary Baptist Church in Trumansburg for 17 years. He and his wife Vicky are parents of 6 children and 5 grandchildren. Tim has served on the camp board for 6 years, has helped to expand and supervise the climbing wall and zipline and has coached high school track for over ten years. Tim is a graduate of Baptist Bible Seminary in Clarks Summit Pa with a Doctor of Ministry degree.
