HORSE CAMP

HORSE CAMP DESCRIPTION
Camp Lamoka’s latest camp is all about horses, and we could not be more thrilled. We are proud to announce our partnership with Rose Mountain Horse Ranch and Farm to offer an incredible riding and learning experience to our campers. Campers/participants will stay at Lamoka overnight and be at camp half the day to participate in most of the great activities we offer (note: some activities at Lamoka that only run in the afternoon will be missed by Horse Camp participants because they will be at the Ranch everyday throughout the afternoon). Campers will also attend both daily chapels. Campers will then be transported daily in the morning to the Rose Mountain Horse Ranch (10 miles away) where they will dive into all sorts of equestrian pursuits with our friendly and talented horse experts Rachel and Emily. They will learn how to ride, take care of horses and the ranch, etc from just before lunch until dinner each day (t-f), before being transported back to camp to join us for dinner and the rest of the evening. Space is incredibly limited and this camp will fill up quickly – register asap!

INFORMATION ABOUT THE HORSE FARM/RANCH
The Rose Mountain Horse Farm is fully insured and is an established Horse ranch that offers equestrian services, training, trail rides, etc throughout the year. It is owned and operated by two Christian sisters Rachel and Emily. They have a passion for horses, teaching young people about horses, and the glory of God! The farm is around 10 miles away from the camp and the transportation to and from the camp will be conducted by responsible camp personnel. Transportation, vehicle(s), the farm, etc are approved, and certified safe, by the Health Deptartment of New York. Campers will be accompanied by staff personnel to the far, who will stay with them throughout the day, before returning with them to camp in the evening. Campers will also be accompanied by a medical staff member (First Aid and CPR). If you have any questions about the farm, the staff, or any of the details, please contact our office anytime.
